The quantum revolution has reached its second phase. While the first phase brought us new technologies like transistors, semiconductors, lasers, and satellite-based navigation techniques, we are now able to exploit the laws of quantum mechanics for tasks like communication, computation, simulation, or sensing and metrology. In the second phase, we expect to see the first novel quantum devices replace classical devices due to their superior performance.

Find out in our latest technical article how optical frequency combs and ultra-stable lasers enable the second quantum revolution, and which solutions Menlo Systems provides.
