PR15-011-LASER World of Photonics Munich 2015

The Laser World of Photonics conference and exhibition in Munich had its record year with over 1,200 exhibitors and more than 30,000 visitors.

We would like to thank everyone who visited our booth during the LASER exhibition. The many interesting conversations gave us the opportunity to learn about the trends in the markets and its Photonics applications.

We showed our innovative new developments in live operating setups to give you an insight into our versatile product range.

As an addition to our family of frequency combs we showed a rack-mounted version of our successful and stable FC1500 comb system and the first comb in space which was launched proverbial high-flying into space on board of a rocket this spring.

We also presented a new member within our line of compact modular femtosecond fiber lasers for flexible and cost efficient OEM integration. With the ELMO 780 the first handheld 780 nm femtosecond laser Menlo Systems’ unique figure 9® mode locking technology is brought to the market. The laser is perfectly suited for applications in terahertz generation, multiphoton excitation, lithography technology and 3D micro printing, as well as for seeding of amplifiers.

In the THz section Menlo Systems has released the TERA K15 Edition 2015 fiber coupled configuration for fast broadband time-domain THz spectroscopywith improved data acquisition and signal sampling. The new THz system development brings unparalleled user-friendliness and flexibility for scientific material testing and for quality control applications.

Every Menlo attendant enjoyed the exhibition and we wish to thank you all who visited our booth. If you weren’t able to see us at the Laser show, please do not hesitate to contact us for any information.
