Optica’s Online Industry Meeting (OIM) on Photonic-enabled Quantum Computing is taking place online (on Zoom and livestreamed on YouTube)

There are currently several approaches to quantum computing, all of which involve photonics in some way, whether using lasers to trap ions and atoms or integrated photonics to generate and manipulate qubits.

Photonics will also be crucial for networking quantum computers to achieve scale. Where do the individual approaches stand today and what do they need from photonics providers?

Everyone agrees that "every photon counts", but what does that mean? At this event, developers will talk about their photonic challenges.
