THz Workshop at the University of Cambridge
Event Details
Location: University of Cambridge | Cambridge, United Kingdom
Date: July 7, 2026 | 09:00 – 17:00
Workshop Overview
Terahertz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) is a powerful technique for non-destructive material characterization and industrial inspection.
Menlo Systems is hosting a one-day workshop on terahertz (THz) technology at the University of Cambridge. The workshop provides an introduction to THz fundamentals, measurement techniques, and key applications in both scientific research and industrial environments.
Participants will gain insights into the principles of THz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS), explore the building blocks of modern THz systems, and learn how THz measurements enable non-destructive analysis of a wide range of materials.
The program combines expert presentations with live system demonstrations, providing a practical understanding of how THz systems are used in real measurement scenarios.
Participants will also have the opportunity to test their own samples, subject to prior coordination.
