Based on our ultra fast fiber lasers TC1550 we have developed an ultra-broadband light source for applications in optical coherence tomography and telecommunication. It makes use of supercontunuum generation within specifically designed fibers to achieve an ultra-broadband output spectrum.

• Repetition Rate 80 MHz

	OCT-measurements in cooperation with Prof. Drexler and his group in Vienna. We have successfully tested the TB-1550 in ultrahigh axial resolution optical coherence tomography.
