19 December, 2007: Femtosecond Phase Stabilization Technology Enables the Capturing Attosecond Electron Transport in Real Time
Menlo Systems is proud to announce its latest contribution to advancing attosecond technology. An international team of researchers at the Max Planck institute of Quantum Optics together with the developers of the femtosecond phase stabilization units at Menlo Systems achieved the first essential step towards ultimate-speed electronics, limited only by the time required for an electron to travel between neighboring atoms.
31 July, 2007: Menlo Systems Opens US Subsidiary to Boost its North American Presence
Menlo Systems opened its US subsidiary in late 2006 to establish a direct line to its customers in North
America and to partner with America’s premium research institutes for R&D projects. Located in Cambridge,
Massachusetts the new US office helps the company to grow and continue its success in the
American market.
13 June, 2007: Ultra-compact femtosecond laser
Production and analysis methods employing lasers with extremely short pulses are increasingly finding there way into everyday life. Under the product designation “T-Light,” Menlo Systems offers a femtosecond fiber laser (fs fiber laser) that was engineered for applications in micro material processing, terahertz generation, and multiphoton microscopy.
27 April, 2007: High repetition rate fiber laser engineered for high-precision metrology applications
M-Comb delivers the highest fundamental repetition rate available on a femtosecond fiber oscillator. The laser running at 250 MHz repetition rate was developed to be the core component of versatile frequency comb systems.
28 March, 2007: Highest energy, commercial phase stabilized femtosecond laser
Recent carrier envelope phase stabilization of a KMLabs Dragon femtosecond laser amplifier using Menlo Systems’ femtosecond phase stabilization units for laser oscillator XPS800 and amplifiers APS 800 demonstrated sub-30 fs phase stabilized pulses with 2 mJ pulse energy at 1 kHz repetition rate.
