The 9^th Frequency Comb Seminar held at Menlo Systems’ headquarters in Martinsried from July 18 to 21, 2017, has once again been a real success. All participants have been particularly happy about the profound explanation of the frequency comb theory. The selection of various topics has met the expectations of new and expert users equally. An in-depth introduction into theory, operation, and various applications has been given. Practical sessions and hands-on training rounded up the seminar program. Everybody enjoyed the personal atmosphere and the excellent opportunity for networking with other users and Menlo experts. On top, during the lab tour visit to the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics, the participants could exchange with scientists working with Menlo's frequency comb technology.
